My cloth nappy journey

I've done it. I gone and made a bloody decision!

For two months now I've been umming and ahhing about whether or not to start using cloth nappies. Mostly put off my by husband, I haven't been able to make a firm decision. To be fair, he's really supportive of most things I do, and he isn't unsupportive of this - but I think he's in the 'why make more work for yourself?' camp on this one (as I change the vast majority of nappies, and do all the washing). But after *a lot* of research I have finally bitten the bullet and placed an order for my starter stash of nappies.

I have to say I'm really looking forward to it... not entirely sure why.

The deciding factor for me is that this is probably my last baby and using cloth nappies is something I'd like to try. So if I don't do it now, I never will.

Of course the cost benefits are a factor, as is not having bags and bags of nappies to put in the bin every week. Plus, they are just so cute! One of my choices is a TotsBots polka dot nappy with foxes on. I love foxes so this excites me way more than is probably normal!

How adorable is this!?

So, yeah. This should be interesting...

I'm a complete cloth nappy newbie so, if you are too, why not tag along and we can learn about this together. And if you're a seasoned cloth pro, all advice gratefully received.

I plan to do a series of vlogs on this on my youtube channel also, so please subscribe to see those :)

"On your head be it" were my husband's last words on the matter :) so lets hope I prove him wrong. I usually do!
