Last week, and this week, are all about getting back into the swing of things for the new school year really. I'm still a bit disorientated to be honest, but the kids seem to have taken to their new teachers and classes really well. Moving up to juniors is a big step for my little man, but so far so good. And he loves wearing a tie :)
2. Last day of the holidays calls for a day at a cheesy seaside funfair. I had a great day with my favourite people - sunshine, ice cream and a significantly lighter wallet.
3. Back to school. Sob. I'm still really missing them. Even a week later. Then I pick them up from school, they argue about who gets to use the downstairs loo and who has to go upstairs (wtf!?) and I remember what a great invention school is!
4. Plus, I get some quality time with this little beauty. He's changing every day and I'm so grateful to be able to spend every day with him.
1. We're making the most of these cheeky extra days of summer we're having. My three love nothing better than an evening on the beach. Its quieter at the end of the day so they have more freedom to run and explore. Perfect.
2. Took this little monkey to baby gym for the first time last week, and boy did he enjoy himself. Running, climbing, bouncing, rolling, climbing some more. It was awesome to watch him.
3. Another back to school perk - an hour to myself while Ayden naps to tidy up, blog, read some of my favourite blogs, eat lunch. The possibilities are endless.
4. We've been doing a lot of work to the house, for what feels like forever. And we're finally coming to the end. I say we; my amazing, hardworking, slightly mental husband has been doing it all himself. In his spare time. Of which he has very little. Anyway, we took the opportunity to make our mark on one of the new walls. That's it. Can't move now.
If you're on instagram, please pop over and say hi. I'm always looking for new people to follow. You can find me here.
